Motorised Wheelchair Training Simulator
Motorised Wheelchair Trainer
Practise before you drive.
Learning to drive a powered wheelchair takes practice, and the first attempts are the hardest — in a corridor, through a doorway, or reversing out of a lift. This free app gives you somewhere to make those first attempts safely.
Sixteen lessons, one skill at a time
From switching the chair on to a full obstacle course. Each lesson has a clear goal, an on-screen coach that talks you through it, and a target box showing exactly where to stop and which way to face.
- The basics — powering on, moving off, stopping, choosing a speed
- Reversing, and judging where the back of the chair goes
- Turning both ways, forwards and in reverse
- Figure-eights and pivot turns for tight spaces
- Doorways, corridors and ramps
- Parallel parking and reverse parking
- Boarding a bus, including the ramp and the wheelchair bay
The final course puts everything together in one run.
Built for the people who use it
Chosen when you first open the app, changeable at any time.
The controls and coach panel move to the side that suits you.
Sized for a fingertip or a stick-on thumb control.
High-contrast text, simple controls, no clutter.
A record worth reviewing
The app keeps track of how long each lesson was practised, how many attempts it took, and which ones have been passed — useful to look at together with a therapist. It stays on the device.
Private, and free
No account, no sign-up, no advertising. The app collects no personal information and needs no internet connection at all. See the privacy policy.
For occupational therapists and carers
Lessons unlock in order so skills build on each other, and there is a setting to open them all at once for demonstrating a particular manoeuvre. The training record shows how many attempts each lesson took, which is often more revealing than whether it was passed.

Why we built it
ELFIGO Mobility is one of Singapore’s leading distributors of Personal Mobility Aids. Supporting users, families, occupational therapists and carers, we have seen again and again how much difference preparation makes to someone’s first weeks in a powered chair — and how little chance most people get to practise before it matters.
Practise the fundamentals. Build confidence. Be better prepared.

When to Choose a Lithium PMA
Lightweight lithium battery-powered PMAs are ideal when the device needs to be folded or carried frequently. Common use cases include:
- Transporting the PMA by car
- Bringing the PMA on a plane
- Carrying the PMA over high obstacles such as a flight of steps
When to Choose an SLA PMA
If weight is not a key concern, sealed lead-acid (SLA) battery-powered PMAs may be the better option. Key advantages include:
- Much lower fire risk compared with lithium PMAs
- More stability due to heavier weight and a lower centre of gravity
- Greater power and capability when handling obstacles such as low kerbs and MRT train-to-platform gaps
