If fire safety is the primary consideration, our sealed lead-acid (SLA) mobility scooters are an excellent choice. SLA batteries have extremely low fire risk and are trusted by occupational therapists (OTs) and users who prioritise safety and peace of mind over portability.
If portability is your priority, our lightweight, foldable, airline-friendly lithium mobility scooters fold in seconds, fit easily into most car boots, and are great for travel or commuting. We use only original factory batteries from reputable manufacturers of medical devices.
All our mobility scooters also come with battery chargers that are Singapore Safety Mark Certified.
They are sold with Land and Transport Authority (LTA) registration and identification marks and can be legally used on public paths in Singapore now and in the future. However, from 1 June 2026, users of mobility scooters will require Certificate of Medical Need (CMN). This is not required for:
- Users of government-subsidised mobility scooters.
- Users of electric wheelchairs.
- Seniors aged 70 and above.
- Past and future applicants of Ministry of Health (MOH) disability schemes.

How to choose the right mobility scooter in Singapore
Folding or 4-wheel. Folding lithium scooters such as the eFOLDi, F2, T550 and Solax range are light enough to lift into a car boot or take overseas. Heavier 4-wheel SLA scooters such as the Budget-Lite and Phoenix HD offer more stability, comfort and range for daily rides around the estate. Fire safety. SLA batteries have an extremely low fire risk and are trusted by occupational therapists. Lithium batteries are lighter and quicker to remove, and we use only original factory batteries.
Range and user weight. Folding scooters typically cover 15 km per charge, or 30 km with a spare battery on some models. If you travel further or need a higher weight capacity, the Phoenix HD 4 (158 kg) and Budget-Lite Deluxe Large (159 kg) are built for heavier users.

Travelling with a mobility scooter
Standard 240Wh batteries can only fly if the airline approves them in advance; otherwise the default 160Wh limit applies. Do I need a Certificate of Medical Need to use a mobility scooter?
From 1 June 2026, mobility scooter users need a Certificate of Medical Need unless they are exempt. You are exempt if you are aged 70 and above (by year of birth), received a government-subsidised scooter under the SMF before 27 February 2026 or under the ATF, or are a past or future applicant of an MOH disability scheme. The certificate is obtained through the Assessment for Mobility Scooter (AMS) with a Singapore-registered doctor or occupational therapist, or a GP that offers it. What do I need to buy a mobility scooter?
Every mobility scooter we sell is registered and tagged before sale. If you are below 70, we verify your Certificate of Medical Need on OneMotoring using your NRIC/FIN and date of birth. Ownership is then transferred to you on OneMotoring; with Singpass, you accept the transfer within 5 working days.
Can I use a motorised wheelchair instead?
Yes. Motorised wheelchairs do not need a Certificate of Medical Need or registration, so they can be a simpler option. Browse our motorised wheelchairs.
Can I try a mobility scooter before I buy?
Yes. Walk in to our showroom at 140 Paya Lebar Road, #05-11 AZ Building (near Macpherson MRT) for a free test drive, no appointment needed. We are open Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 6.00 pm and Saturday 10.30 am to 4.30 pm.
How long does delivery take?
Mobility scooters are delivered in 1 to 2 working days, excluding Sundays and public holidays, once the purchase checks are complete. You can also pick up from our office.
Are subsidies or instalment plans available?
Subsidies are available; contact us for details. We also offer interest-free instalments through Atome (up to 3 months) and Grab (up to 4 months), and up to 36 months with UOB credit cards for walk-in purchases.
