Collection: Lithium Battery-Powered Electric Wheelchairs | Motorised Wheelchairs

ELFIGO’s lithium battery-powered electric wheelchairs are among the lightest in the world. They are designed for maximum portability—easy to fold, lift into a car boot, and take on flights. They are also suitable for homes that are not wheelchair-accessible due to steps at the entrance.

Our carbon-fibre motorised wheelchairs, such as the Ultra-Lite Carbon V2 (10.8 kg) and Ultra-Lite Carbon (11.7 kg), are especially popular with families where the caregiver is also a senior. These models are widely prescribed by the occupational therapists (OTs) we work with in both Singapore and Australia.

While lithium batteries can catch fire, the risk is very low when proper, original components are used. We use only original batteries from medical device manufacturers, all of which are UN38.3 certified.

However, if portability is not a major concern, we also offer sealed lead-acid (SLA) battery-powered motorised wheelchairs, which have an even lower fire risk.

All our electric wheelchairs are compliant with Land and Transport Authority (LTA) 2026 rules and can be legally used on public paths in Singapore now and in the future. Unlike mobility scooters, motorised wheelchairs can be used without the need for medical certification. Learn more about the rules by clicking below:
